October 2nd- If you want to get one more chance to go to Wild Rivers before they close for good. Go to the Annual Ducky Derby. adopt a few ducks and you can access to all the water slides etc. We have done this before and it is a blast!
October 8th- Fire departments all around orange county will be hosting an Open House day from 10am-3pm. Bring your kids to help put out a real fire, and let them try on some fire man's suite etc. This is a free event. Check with your local city for information!
October 9th-Acorn Day at O'Neil regional Park . the event is free but there is a $5 parking fee. 10am-2pm
Whole month of October- Tanaka Farms(Irvine) has free parking and free entrance to the pumpkin patch and veggies. You will just have to pay for the pumpkin and veggies you choose to buy.
