1962
The "Little Tree Church," an eight-seat chapel in the parking lot of Jamestown Village on El Camino Real in Tustin, CA -- between Main and Sixth streets -- was constructed around an old oak tree after the completion of the shopping center in 1962. Builder C.T. Gilbreath had razed a Victorian home in order to build the center, but saved the oak tree. The chapel is a miniature version of a church in Tennessee his grandmother attended.
Unfortunately, in about 2000, the old oak tree in middle of the "Little Tree Church" died and had to be removed. In 2005, the area around the church was landscaped and a camphor tree planted next to the church.
One day’s rental costs just $100, but you have to clean and decorate the chapel yourself. If interested, call Gerda Brucks of Gerda’s Antiques: (714) 832-4932.

MAY 29TH-Sanctus Real Concert
Sanctus Real will be in concert at Living Water Christian Fellowship on Sunday May 29th at 11:30am for Connect. Following the service there will be an In-N-Out truck at church where lunch will be available. This concert event is free. Living Water christian Fellowship
I have never been to the one in Tustin. How was it? We always go to the one in Costa Mesa, which has a little play area right by where you eat outside.
